The search for the body of Francesca Deidda began this morning along the old Orientale Sarda, the 42-year-old who disappeared in May from San Sperate and, according to investigators, was killed by her 43-year-old husband Igor Sollai.
The deployment of forces was impressive and began to search the area in search of any clue, such as clothing or a backpack: the groups were made up of firefighters, Cacciatori di Sardegna of the Carabinieri, the Sardinian mountain and speleological rescue group and by Civil Protection volunteers.
The investigators decided to start from the area close to the Roman bridge, in the Muravera area, and then search every ravine along the Picocca stream.

For the Prosecutor's Office, and according to the Carabinieri who were investigating the disappearance and then transforming the possible crime into murder, it was Sollai who used the device, in a (vain) attempt to reassure relatives and friends of the wife he had already killed.
