Even if a decision will be taken at a national level, in Sardinia "the idea is to go back to school on January 10 , considering that 7 is Friday", confirms the councilor for health of the Region, Mario Nieddu before participating in the conference of Regions also called to discuss the draft to be proposed to the Government to manage infections in classrooms when school resumes after the Christmas holidays.

Nieddu added that the Region is working to provide a screening "on a voluntary basis" for which - as Andrea Biancareddu, Councilor for Education already hypothesized yesterday - a random rear-end collision campaign will be launched, probably in southern Sardinia where recorded the most consistent increase in infections.
