Mission steal, from Predda Niedda to the center of Sassari. A man and a young woman were arrested yesterday by the local police, involved in several thefts committed in the city.
First from HappyCasa where, according to the accusations, they stole some watches but the fact is still being investigated. They then moved towards Oviesse where, removing the anti-shoplifting plates, they took several jackets by wearing them one on top of the other. The 43-year-old and the 24-year-old then went to Upim to steal other jackets and a pair of trousers, using the same technique.
But they didn't realize that, in the meantime, they were being followed by the local police. The officers stopped them immediately after they left the shops, searching them and discovering the stolen goods, whose value was about 500 euros. This morning they were taken to court in Sassari on charges of attempted theft.
Judge Sara Pelicci ordered the two, defended by lawyers Letizia Doppiu Anfossi and Carlo Foddai, to remain at home for him and to sign in for the 24-year-old.
