Flames in a country house , in the Monte Oro area of Sassari .

The fire started inside a shaft built along the perimeter of the house , inside which timber and other furnishings had been kept. In a few moments, the flames devoured cardboard and plastic boxes and reduced them to ashes. A long column of smoke filled the area. Two teams of the Sassari firefighters were sent to the site, departing from the central headquarters of the provincial command to secure the area affected by the fire, which luckily didn't involve anyone .

The firefighters proceeded to put out the flames, a complex operation that engaged the teams for over two hours, an activity that continued further in the search for the causes that gave rise to the fire. Huge damage caused by the fire which, among other things, destroyed some pieces of furniture and various machinery.
