The house arrest of Corrado Deiana , the builder involved in the corruption investigation initiated by the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office and in which the regional councilor of the Mixed group always ended up under the precautionary custody order of the investigating judge of the Cagliari court, Giorgio Altieri , Valerio De Giorgi, also accused of an exchange vote, and his collaborator Marco Pili (freed in recent days).

Deiana - for which the obligation to sign remains - was the only one of the three to have presented himself before the judge, asking to make brief spontaneous statements. On the basis of the dispute of the prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia, the builder, in exchange for an amendment to the law on the house plan, would have given four apartments to the politician through the exchange of land belonging to De Giorgi's family. Deiana, however, rejected all charges, arguing that his relations with the regional councilor (former president of the Budget Commission) had the contours of a consultancy, underlining that he was acting to protect the interests of construction companies.

As for the exchange, he said it was perfectly in line with the mechanisms of the market, so much so that it was also included in the bank's financial plan. According to what Deiana's lawyer, Franco Villa, has learned, he also presented expert reports to demonstrate that that exchange contract is the result of a synallagmatic exchange. "My client is calm and we are confident in the judiciary - said Villa - now we await the development of the procedure".
