An agent on duty in the Bancali prison is being investigated for corruption as part of the investigation launched by the Prosecutor's Office of Trapani on a system of rigged public competitions to facilitate the entry into the police and firefighters of candidates who paid up to 5 thousand euros to compliant officials to pass the exams.

The investigation, which started in June 2020, led today to the execution of 14 precautionary measures: one person in prison, three under house arrest and 10 residence obligations.

Among the recipients also an agent of the Penitentiary Police of the Bancali prison, residing in Porto Torres.

This morning the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Sassari notified him of the obligation of residence ordered by the Prosecutor of Trapani.
