Rigged analyzes in the Olbia purifier, four suspects

The Prosecutor of Tempio has opened an investigation into the discharge of the Cipnes consortium purifier in Olbia .

The Carabinieri del Noe of Sassari have identified and seized a device which, according to the prosecutors, prevented the correct sampling of the water that ended up in the sea .

In practice, again according to the hypothesis of the Arma investigators, the values were always correct because the water analyzed was not the one discharged into the Cocciani sea .

The investigations began in 2022 after the presentation of a complaint by some mussel farmers in Olbia. Two sector technicians and two workers are under investigation , assisted by the lawyer Marzio Altana. The director general of Cipnes, Aldo Carta, while waiting to know the papers of the investigation, did not want to make any statements.
