Sardinia's battle against the onslaught of wind power and maxi-projects regarding renewable energy does not stop.

Confirmation comes from the Region that on Thursday morning the governor Alessandra Todde will receive a delegation from the Coordination of the committees against energy speculation in Viale Trento , right in the midst of the mobilization, which is affecting both politics and civil society and the territories.

There are many initiatives to say "no" to the plans of speculators. Above all, "È-Vento di Saccargia" ( the PROGRAM ), a large popular demonstration called for Saturday 15 June in one of the symbolic places of the "scarring": the Romanesque church of Saccargia, in the Codrongianus area, threatened by a gigantic wind farm , marked Erg.

Meanwhile, the Legal Intervention Group raises the alarm for the territory on the slopes of the Sette Fratelli, included among the Municipalities of Maracalagonis, Sinnai, Selargius, Quartucciu and Settimo San Pietro, affected by another maxi-project : a wind farm with 17 wind turbines with a maximum height exceeding 200 metres.

Politics is also mobilised: Fratelli d'Italia has recently presented a bill renamed "Save countryside" , with the aim of protecting agricultural surfaces from the installation of systems for the production of renewable energy.

However, the text on the moratorium against wind attacks is expected in the regional council on 25 June , with the majority intending to accelerate it after the agreement found in the State-Regions Conference on the so-called suitable areas .

Yesterday, however, the stance taken against speculation by an excellent testimonial, the actress Caterina Murino , who - moved - underlined the need to form a common front to prevent the "madness" and havoc of the land of Sardinia ( IL VIDEO ).
