"Life imprisonment" . This is the sentence requested by the prosecutor of Cagliari Rossana Allieri against the 35-year-old Andrea Pinna , accused of the premeditated voluntary murder and the concealment of the corpse of Fabio Serventi , 24, who disappeared into thin air on 21 March 202 0 from his grandfather's house in Perdaxius , in southern Sardinia.

During the hearing there were also moments of tension , such as when the accused was called to clarify the content of some messages on Whatsapp recovered by investigators on mobile phones and never heard, with the father of the missing young man he began to rant with anger .

"We've been coming here for two years to hear you tell lies ," he shouted at the accused's address, before being dismissed and calmed by the plaintiff lawyers Patrizio Rovelli and Fabrizio Rubiu .

In one of the messages examined, sent on the very night of the crime, Pinna - defended by the lawyer Teresa Camoglio - told his girlfriend that he had to "go and do a job" .

When questioned by the court about what that job was, Pinna - who pleads innocent - explained that it was drug issues , but denied that it was the murder. The crime, according to the prosecution, would have been committed precisely for a debt linked to drugs .

The body of Serventi has never been found , despite the many searches carried out by the carabinieri.

Fabio Serventi lived with his grandparents in Is Ergois, in the countryside of Perdaxius. The day of the disappearance he would have left the house with slippers on his feet, without even taking his keys or wallet , prepared to be out for only a few minutes.

There has been no news since. The investigators then arrived in Pinna following the trail of some handovers of the victim's scooter .

To nail him a series of wiretapping in which the same 35-year-old would admit to friends that he had killed Minions.

The next hearing is set for June 15, when the civil parties and the defense will speak.
