Volunteers at work to clean up the Cala Regina coast in Quartu .

About twenty people involved , among them the members of the Cittadinanza Attiva OIKOS association who, in collaboration with the children and their guardians of the Anffas Cagliari association, collected 540 kg of waste , many recovered from the bushes along the SP17.

Alongside plastic bags, glass and bottles, piles of plasterboard materials, paint cans, motorcycle forks, car body parts were also found.

A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Municipality of Quartu and the OIKOS Active Citizenship association to promote and support environmental and cultural initiatives.
