With a funding of 250 thousand euros , the municipal administration aims to enhance the sports structure in Piazza Cagliari, which is able to host meetings and competitions at a national level.

To approve the track, FIDAL asks that the facilities be made safe, in accordance with the law and equipped with certain equipment: cage for discus and hammer throwing, mats for pole vaulting, toe clips for shot put, obstacles. , table stopwatches, 8-digit numerical marker and other material that allows athletes to train in a high-level facility.
