On Friday, exactly two years after the tragedy that moved all my colleagues, in the presence of the police chief, Vittorio Pisani and the highest civil, military, political and religious authorities, there will be the naming ceremony of the Siniscola road police detachment to the memory of the chief assistant, already awarded the gold medal for civil valor given to his wife and son last April by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

The decision to name a police office in his memory is a tangible sign of gratitude of the state police towards one of its agents, a victim of duty, who paid with his life for intervening to rescue and guarantee the safety of a citizen in difficulty. Terrezza was 36 years old and was originally from San Giorgio a Liri, in the province of Frosinone, but had lived for years in Orosei, where he had built a family.
