Pirri has its civic market again. The structure, after a forced stop, reopened its doors this morning, showing off a new look, "safer and more attractive". As underlined by Mayor Zedda, "we respected the work schedule (28 days) for the safety of the structure: from the renovation of the roof to general cleaning interventions up to the redevelopment of the exterior with the beautiful mural created by the artist Giorgio Casu. I thank the services involved, from the offices of the Markets Directorate to Public Works and Productive Activities, operators and boxers for their collaboration".

The administration's plans include "the goal of enhancing all the civic markets, and improving the conditions of those who experience them every day, from merchants to citizens", without forgetting the markets of Santa Chiara, via Quirra and Sant'Elia. Zedda then recalled what was decided for the San Benedetto market, which will be moved to Piazza Nazzari the week after Epiphany : "At the same time, work will also begin on the new market, with some interventions scheduled for these months. After the move, the actual construction site will begin".
