Investigations continue at a rapid pace into the terrible impact of last Saturday, which cost the lives of young motorcyclists Mario Sedda and Roberto Daga from Paulilatino and Giovanni Melis from Gadoni. The investigators start again from the injured to clarify what happened on Provincial Road 11 which leads from Paulilatino to Ula Tirso . The carabinieri of the Ghilarza company also returned to the provincial road yesterday to carry out new surveys and measurements.

The driver of the car, 21 years old, returned to his home in Paulilatino after hospitalization at the Brotzu in Cagliari. «He is devastated by what happened – reports his lawyer Gennaro Di Michele – he knew the deceased boys, he is truly very distressed». He immediately tried to reconstruct the phases of the crash. «He told me that he was traveling in his lane towards Ula Tirso, suddenly a motorbike ended up on top of him like a bullet. Then the darkness." The lawyer reports that the young man was also subjected to alcohol and drug tests "and tested negative for both". The motorcyclist, who had been transferred under code red by air ambulance, is still hospitalized in Sassari hospital. In the next few hours he will have to undergo surgery on his collarbone but his life is not in danger. His testimony will also be fundamental.
