Oristano, over two thousand vaccines already administered. But it is a clash between ASL and Fimmg

Over two thousand people vaccinated against the flu virus, around a thousand anti-Covid doses administered and the delivery of supplies also began yesterday in general medical clinics.

These are the numbers from the first week of the vaccination campaign launched by ASL 5, but there is controversy over the timing between the health company and the GPs' union.

«The flu vaccines will be delivered according to a timetable agreed with the general practitioners and which the Local Health Authority 5 was able to draw up only after having received their availability to carry out the vaccines», points out the general director of the health company Angelo Maria Serusi, replying to the accusations from Fimmg secretary Peppino Canu on the alleged delays.

«The ASL 5 campaign (started on 13 November) is proceeding as in other Sardinian companies, with the only difference that some, like ours, have chosen to favor the headquarters and others the territory, also due to the fact that many general practitioners had not yet indicated their willingness to be involved in vaccinations until recent days."
