Nuoro: luxury goods purchased with the money of clients, 14 years requested for Roberta Barabino

Fourteen years for Roberta Barabino, four years and four months for her husband Graziano Francesco Coinu. These are the final sentences requested this morning by the public prosecutors of Nuoro, Riccardo Belfiori and Selene Desole, before the GIP of the court in the first tranche of the trial for the unfaithful support administrator who over the years has preyed on dozens of vulnerable people .

The prosecutors defined it as a true "Barabino system, a predatory system", counting in the six proceedings brought to trial today, of the 50 in progress, as many as one thousand and 330 cases of embezzlement, 34 cases of self-laundering and 9 forgeries. The prosecutors also underlined the lack of collaboration: "Where did the money go?" they asked, underlining that the overall shortfall is estimated at "several million euros".

In July there will be space for civil parties and defenses with lawyers Gianluca Sannio and Antonio Secci.
