Emiliano Fenu was officially proclaimed the new mayor of Nuoro with 63.05 percent. The formalization came after the conclusion of the checks on the minutes of section 34, where some discrepancies in the vote counts had been found.

The president of the electoral commission, Mauro Pusceddu, explained the details of the irregularities found: "The president of the section was not present, so the secretariat was also reconvened. During the re-checking of the counting tables, we noticed that some votes for the mayors had not been reported, for a total of 22 preferences. Specifically, 16 went to Fenu, 3 to Cucca and 3 to Bidoni".

The problem was then reduced, thanks to the correction of material errors: four ballots were still to be clarified, but they were not such as to change the outcome of the vote. An error in the counting of preferences for councilors - caused by a misinterpreted graphic symbol - was also corrected. Furthermore, the number of voters in section 34 was definitively corrected to 503, compared to the 507 initially indicated.

With the official proclamation of Fenu, the composition of the new city council will now be defined. With the majority list attested at 63.11% of the votes, the coalition supporting the new mayor obtains the absolute majority of seats, exceeding 60%.

News also for the majority councilors: according to the final draft, the 5 Star Movement is assigned a fourth councilor, Alessandro Murgia, strengthening its presence in the chamber. Five councilors to the Pd list,

Two councilors for the lists United for Fenu and for the Progressives, one councilor for Avs, Psi, and Sinistra futura.
