Discussion table convened by the Provincial Administration of Nuoro, with the participation of numerous representatives of trade associations and competent bodies, including the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Province, Giuseppe Ciccolini, the President of Abbanoa, Giuseppe Sardu, and the President of EGAS, Fabio Albieri.

For the associations, the President of Confesercenti, Roberto Cadeddu, the Director of Confindustria, Luigi Ledda, and the presidents of Confagricoltura, Michele Ena, of Copagri Roberto Mura, of Confartigianato Pietro Mazzette, of Confcommercio Agostino Cicalò and the Director of Coldiretti, Alessandro Serra. During the meeting, the associations expressed concern for the serious water situation that risks affecting the businesses of Nuoro, underlining that, in addition to the winter drought, there is a lack of adequate planning.

In particular, they asked to postpone the restrictions announced by Abbanoa for January 27 , when the water supply in Nuoro and 16 other municipalities will be guaranteed every other day, to allow companies to organize themselves better.

The associations have asked to review the alternation method in the water supply, proposing a 12-hour rotation instead of the current 24 hours. In addition, the activation of an emergency service by the Civil Protection has been requested to support companies in water crisis, ensuring a timely supply of drinking water.

In the afternoon, Abbanoa and Egas, and the environmental councilor Rosanna Laconi met with the mayors of the municipalities of Nuoro, announcing the connection works between the Gavossai and Olai basins, which will last a year, and the establishment of emergency response teams in the city to intervene on the leaks.
