Tragedy in the Sassari area: a car veered off the road to avoid a wild boar, killing a 36-year-old.
The tragedy occurred along Provincial Road 84. Rescue efforts were unsuccessful. The victim is Marco Boninu of Illorai. A friend traveling with him was injured.

A wild boar on the road, the Panda swerves suddenly to avoid it and ends up off the road, overturning several times and ending up crashing into a tree.
This is the first reconstruction of the fatal accident that occurred on New Year's Eve on Provincial Road 84 , in the Sassari area, near Bottidda.
The victim is Marco Boninu, from Illorai. A 30-year-old man traveling with him was injured.
After the alarm was raised, emergency responders arrived on the scene. Bono firefighters pulled the 36-year-old man from the car while he was still alive, but he died shortly afterward in the arms of emergency responders.
