Mystery in San Vero Milis, a body found on the beach at Su Pallosu

A body was discovered this afternoon on the beach of Su Pallosu, in San Vero Milis .

The body, in an advanced state of saponification , was spotted by some passers-by who immediately alerted the Carabinieri, who arrived on the scene together with the coroner.

The body was probably washed ashore by the currents. Its terrible condition does not allow us to establish how long it had been at sea or to know with certainty whether it was a woman or a man , the latter hypothesis being more likely given the characteristics of the bones assessed by the coroner.

The body was taken to the hospital in Oristano for tests.
