Mushroom Picking and Getting Lost on Seven Brothers: Two Women Saved

This afternoon two women were rescued by firefighters in a wood near the Monte Cresia local road, on the Sette Fratelli mountains, in the Sinnai area.
The two had ventured out in search of mushrooms and lost their bearings, unwittingly finding themselves inside a thicket.
Thanks to their cell phones, they were able to raise the alarm through the single emergency number 112, which activated the fire brigade's rescue.
Two teams from the Cagliari Fire Department Headquarters arrived in the area. The "2A" operators and the specialists from the Saf (Alpine Fluvial Speleological) unit recovered them in apparent good health.
