There were no unpaid rents at the basis of the dispute that led to the murder of Antonio Pisu in via Agricola 52 in Monserrato on Tuesday morning, but the deposit of the house.
Luigi Piras, the 76-year-old former insurer who fired the four shots and had lived for years in the Pisu house, in March 2014 had signed a preliminary sale agreement with the victim's wife in the attic in which the crime took place, paying 30 thousand euros to advance title. But the attic, built on the solar pavement of the Pisu family building, was illegal. At this point, in 2015, a free loan agreement for the use of the property was signed between the parties for the transfer of domestic users and Piras, who had already taken possession of it, asked that the amnesty be carried out in order to complete the purchase. Impossible: the abuse is incurable.
Pisu and his wife ask for the restitution of the property, Piras for the money. The judges rejected all the requests, giving reason to Piras, who has always said he was ready to vacate the apartment as long as he got his 30,000 euros back. But Antonio Pisu didn't have the slightest intention of returning that money. Between mutual insults, screams, teasing, the treadmill of a worn-out relationship seemed to have been consolidated with the ritual of the daily quarrel. Until Tuesday morning.
A bad story, in short, which in no way justifies the dramatic epilogue: according to the autopsy performed yesterday by the coroner Roberto Demontis, four gunshots were fired at the impresario, three bullets came out, only one, that lethal, it got stuck in his neck. Another blow rang out during the struggle between Piras and Marcello Pisu, the son who intervened to defend his father: luckily he stopped on a wall.
