There are two investigations open on the case of Karol Canu and Giuseppe Contini, the boys from Olbia who have not been heard from since late Thursday evening. The disappearance of the two is now being brought to the attention of the judiciary, we are talking about the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Sassari and the Tempio Prosecutor's Office.
The activities of the prosecutors go hand in hand with the activity of the Prefecture of Sassari, which is coordinating on the research front. The magistrates' checks are intertwined with those entrusted to the State Police and the Civil Protection and confirm that, at this point, the case of the two boys from Olbia could also concern adults.
Several people were interviewed, including a young man from whom Karol and Giuseppe had asked for a ride on a scooter to move from Olbia to one of the hamlets of the Gallura city. There is talk of Berchideddu, but checks were also carried out in Cuzzola (Padru).
According to rumours, on the evening of Thursday 25 January, Karol (17 years old) and Giuseppe (16 years old) attempted in various ways (including by asking adults for help) to leave the city.
The boys' families are desperate. Many reports arriving in the last few hours have turned out to be unfounded. The "Fiamma" helicopter located at the 10th Carabinieri Helicopter Unit in Olbia, participated in the search services.
