2,386 new cases, 2 deaths and 28,094 people in solitary confinement (2,268 a year ago). These are the numbers, relating to yesterday, of Covid in Sardinia, a region in which the alarm has not ceased but important data are recorded daily, as underlined by the councilor for health, Mario Nieddu, who says he is ready to reopen the wards in hospitals dedicated to coronavirus patients, in case it is necessary: the Omicron 5 variant continues to hit without respite even those who are vaccinated . The structures, he clarifies, must not reorganize themselves since the measures are triggered automatically.

There are 128 hospitalized in the medical area (42 a year ago), 10 in intensive care (2 on 2 July 2021).

Transport and not just health care are also at the expense of the pandemic, because hostesses, pilots, stewards, flight attendants get sick, with the risk therefore for those departing to remain on the ground.

Yesterday a canceled flight in Alghero (Wizz Air for Katowice-Poland), in Cagliari the planes for Bergamo (Ryanair), Venice (Wizz Air) and Stuttgart (Eurowings) did not leave, in Olbia the two flights to Dusseldorf (Condor and Eurowings), for Cologne (Eurowings) and for Milan Linate (Air Horizont).
