Horror in Dolianova: A kitten was beaten to a pulp and stuffed in a bag.

Another brutal episode of animal cruelty has occurred in Dolianova, following the killing of Tigger the cat, who was burned alive on the outskirts of town a year ago. This time, too, the victim was a feline, a few-month-old kitten, beaten to death and abandoned on the street. The animal was found by a young woman inside a plastic bag on Via dei Lavoratori, in the town center.

"I was returning home when I heard some moans," Aurora De Candia recounts. "At first, I didn't understand what it was. Then I saw something moving inside a plastic bag. It was a kitten covered in blood, struggling to breathe."

The animal is now hospitalized at the Karel clinic in Monserrato . His condition is stable, and veterinarians are doing everything they can to save his life. A report will be filed with the Carabinieri regarding yet another incident of gratuitous animal abuse, with the hope that this time the perpetrators will be identified and punished. Footage from surveillance cameras in the area could provide crucial support to the investigation.
