Two men and a woman were arrested in Sassari for drug dealing and resisting arrest . Carabinieri arrested the three in the historic center last Friday after catching a dealer in the act of selling a dose.

Upon seeing the officers, the man attempted to escape, taking cover in his home and violently slamming the front door, injuring a Carabinieri officer. During his escape, he also threw away a sock containing 51 grams of cocaine, which was recovered by law enforcement. Once apprehended, he was also found in possession of a sachet containing 10 grams of heroin.

A search of the home uncovered two other people, a man and a woman, throwing two large backpacks out the window. Inside were 540 grams of marijuana, 388 grams of cocaine, and 428 grams of heroin, divided into tablets; 10 grams of hashish; several vials of methadone; various medical and cutting materials used to mix the narcotic; a blender used to make the two individual doses; precision scales; a micro cell phone; some jewelry of dubious origin; and €8,156 in cash.
All the material was seized and the three were taken to Bancali prison, pending the validation hearing.
