He tries to rape and kill his ex-partner: Carbonia, 54 years old under arrest

Attempted murder, sexual assault, kidnapping and persecutory acts .

These are the accusations that led to the arrest of a 54-year-old from Carbonia who, for reasons of jealousy , brutally attacked the ex-partner.

According to what was reconstructed by the carabinieri, the man, not resigning himself at the end of the relationship with the woman, would have invited her to a farm owned by him "for a clarification".

But the conversation then degenerated: the man in fact threw himself at her and tried to have an unwilling relationship with her.

The woman, however , rebelled and the man, to try to overwhelm her, hit her with a hammer , causing a deep wound in the back of the head . Despite the situation, however, she managed to raise the alarm to 112.

The carabinieri of the radio-mobile unit then intervened on the spot and stopped the man before the situation could degenerate further. Instead, the woman was rescued and taken to hospital.

The 54-year-old is now locked up in Uta prison after his arrest was validated by the judge.
