A tragic road accident occurred this evening around 6:00 PM on Provincial Road 65, which leads to Sant'Antonio di Santadi: Attilio Mocci, 49, from Guspini, died when his car went off the road.
According to an initial reconstruction, the victim was driving a Volkswagen Golf: for reasons currently being investigated, at kilometer 0.400, he lost control of the vehicle and ended up off the roadway.
The impact proved fatal and, despite the timely assistance of 118 personnel, there was nothing that could be done for Mocci.
The firefighters from the Sanluri detachment intervened on site, securing the area, and the Carabinieri from the Guspini station, who were entrusted with the surveys to reconstruct the dynamics.
