The sudden death of the 79-year-old entrepreneur Gesuino Oppo, owner of the homonymous company, leader in the hydraulic and plant engineering sector , with offices in Cagliari, Oristano, Ghilarza, Macomer, Sassari and Olbia and which employed about 70 employees .

This morning he was taken ill in his Ghilarzese home, a stone's throw from the parish, where he died despite the prompt intervention of 118.
