"Now we hope that he will have the mercy to tell the truth and stop denying the evidence." Andrea Deidda is the brother of Francesca, the forty-two year old from San Sperate who has been missing since early May. Then he turned to the police to file a complaint. After weeks and months of silence, anguish and desperation he decided to entrust his thoughts to social media. Or, at least, that part that can be made public in these hours, after the judge for preliminary investigations validated the arrest of the brother-in-law, Igor Sollai, 43 years old, accused of killing Francesca and making her body disappear.

The suspect denies any wrongdoing and, through his lawyers, has spoken of an alleged voluntary removal of the person who, according to the investigators, is his victim.

Andrea Deidda confesses that «in these very long weeks I have had to limit the spread of the news and avoid any kind of appeal to better facilitate the work of the carabinieri whom I have always trusted and will continue to trust blindly». No declarations, no sharing. Only rumors chasing each other about the end of the forty-two year old. And the hope that nothing had happened to her became increasingly weaker. Until the turning point in recent days, with the arrest and subsequent arrest of the alleged murderer.

«Right away», Andrea Deidda now adds, «we understood that it wasn't a matter of estrangement but of something more serious». A feminicide, still without a body to cry on.
