The search for Francesca Deidda, the 42-year-old who disappeared from San Sperate and who, according to the Prosecutor's Office, was killed by her 43-year-old husband Igor Sollai, currently in prison for aggravated voluntary homicide and concealment of a corpse, has been suspended.

Today, in addition to the Alpine and Speleological Rescue, Cacciatori di Sardegna and Civil Protection teams, divers from the Fire Brigade also arrived on site and inspected a manhole. Throughout the morning, the riverbed around the Roman bridge at kilometer 35 of the former Sardinian Orientale was scoured inch by inch, where between Wednesday and Thursday the dental bite, the beauty case, the bathrobe were found, the fragment of sweatshirt and the rock with traces of blood, some women's clothing and a cloth stained with blood. All elements that were submitted to the RIS for investigations.

Molecular dogs are also expected to arrive in the area next week, which could lend a hand in the research. Meanwhile, Sollai's lawyers, Carlo Demurtas and Laura Pirarba, have announced that they have filed a request for review against the order validating the arrest with which they will ask for a modification of the precautionary measure.

Tonight, at 9pm, a torchlight procession against violence and for Francesca Deidda will be held in San Sperate.

Tomorrow in San Sperate, a torchlight procession organized by the mayor and the city councilors is scheduled for 9pm and will wind through the main streets of central southern Sardinia.
