Nearly 4 quintals of fish without the required documentation : this is what the traffic police and coast guard discovered in Olbia after identifying, during a check near the port, approximately 40kg of untraceable oysters in a wagon coming from the mainland .
A subsequent inspection at the recipient company revealed nearly 360 kg of other fish products, including yellowfin tuna, salmon, octopus, mackerel, sea bass, sea bream, cuttlefish, African perch, and other fish products, all lacking the required and mandatory documentation .
The goods were seized and handed over to the companies identified by the Maritime and Health Authority, while the company was fined €3,000 and the product was confiscated.
