They didn't hesitate to roll up their sleeves to collect what uncivilized people abandon along the coast. Not even the high temperatures stopped the Plastic Free volunteers. On the Riviera di Sorso, last Saturday, on access route number 7, four intrepid and fearless members of the non-profit organization braved the scorching heat (39°C) starting from 8:00 a.m., recovering approximately 100 kilograms of waste, including glass bottles, unsorted waste, and plastic.

They combed the area and recovered the indiscriminately dumped material, traces left by those who are enemies of the environment . This is a timely effort by those who care about protecting their land and maintaining the pristine coastline. Sassari's Plasticfree representatives, Serena Solinas and Roberto Manca, also participated in the operation.

The affected stretch of coast is one of the most popular with swimmers, yet it receives little respect. At the end of the activities, the volunteers enjoyed a dip in the sea of the Sorso Riviera.
