The thick fog that enveloped Elmas airport this morning caused the diversion of five planes from Cagliari to Alghero .

These are two Ita Airways flights from Rome-Fiumicino with scheduled arrival in the capital at 8.05 and 9.35, a flight from Milan-Linate , also by Ita, which should have landed at 8.25 and two Ryanair flights. One from Pisa with arrival in Elmas at 8.55, the other from Bergamo with landing scheduled for 10.05. Cascading delays in subsequent connections.

For the majority of passengers disembarking at Alghero airport, buses have been made available to reach Cagliari, with the exception of travelers on the second flight from Rome (the 9.35 flight) and those arriving from Bergamo: they will reach the airport of Elmas on board airplanes.
