Fire in Muravera, flames near homes: one person evacuated
The fire is threatening several homes in the Stagno delle Saline area. Two helicopters from the regional fleet, including the Super Puma, and ground crews are in action. A Canadair aircraft has been requested.

Fear in Muravera. A fire is threatening several homes in the Stagno delle Saline area. One vulnerable person has been evacuated . The flames have attacked agricultural areas bordering a scrub forest.
The Forestry Corps is responding with the support of two helicopters : a light helicopter from the Villasalto operations base, and a twin-engine AS332 Super Puma helicopter from Fenosu. A Canadair has been requested. The DOS (Firefighting Operations Director) of the Muravera Forestry Station is coordinating the firefighting operations on site. Ground teams are also involved: the GUAF unit from Cagliari, the Forestas Agency from Villaputzu-Muravera, volunteers from Sinnai, and the San Vito firefighters.
