After yesterday's fire, a fire broke out on the outskirts of the city again this afternoon, threatening some houses .

The affected area is that of the pine forest of Città Nuova, in the locality of Sa Mandra .

The Civil Protection had to evacuate several homes as a precaution .

Fear among the residents, who tried to stop the fire as best they could while waiting for help.

Firefighters, foresters and volunteers are on site.

Air vehicles are also in action : three helicopters of the regional Forestry Corps, but the help of the Superpuma and a Canadair was also requested.
