The necropsy report on the body of Anna Maria Congiu , the 55-year-old woman from Poggio dei Pini (Capoterra), former director general of the Cacip, who died last week after an immersion in the waters of the Gulf of Cagliari.

A gas embolism would have been fatal to the woman.

In the next few hours, the coroner Professor Roberto Demontis will send his report to the magistrate, Dr. Ginevra Grilletti, who ordered the autopsy.

The body will now be made available to the family for the funeral.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues to establish any responsibility for the incident.

Immediately after the woman's death, it was the Harbor Master's Office and the Police who collected the testimonies of the leaders of the diving association and of the other divers who had participated in the sea excursion.
