Covid, in Sardinia employment in hospital wards is growing again

Covid does not give up, not only in Italy but also on the island.

While at the country system level and according to data from the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas), after more than three weeks of stability, the percentage of posts occupied in intensive care by coronavirus patients rises over a 24-hour period, the figure remains stable in Sardinia , with a 3% which is equal to the national value.

On the island, however, the employment figure for Covid patients in the ordinary wards of hospitals increases from 7 to 8% (+ 1%).

In Sardinia yesterday there were 868 new infections and two deaths compared to 1480 tests carried out in the previous 24 hours.
