In Sardinia the number of daily Covid infections returns to over 200. There is also a new victim and a further hospitalization in intensive care. With over 11 thousand swabs performed in 24 hours, the positivity rate goes from 1.5% to 2%.
Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Sunday 19 December 2021: “In Sardinia today there are 222 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity, based on 2652 people tested. A total of 11225 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
There are 11 patients admitted to intensive care units (one more than yesterday).
The patients admitted to the medical area are 116 (two fewer than yesterday).
There are 3942 cases of home isolation (146 more than yesterday).
The death of a 56-year-old man residing in the province of Nuoro is recorded ”.
Exactly one year ago - on December 19, 2020 - in the 24 hours there were 380 new positives and nine deaths ( All data ).
