The Prosecutor of Tempio opens an investigation file, currently no suspects, on the collision between the Sharden irrenia ferry and the Golfo Aranci fishing boat, which took place yesterday evening around 11.15 pm off the coast of Capo Figari while some testimonies of passengers who were on board the ship.

In particular that of an Olbian who reported a communication, around midnight, in which passengers were warned that the ship was returning "because it was being followed by a boat and then would have resumed its course for Livorno", which is actually happened about two hours later. Passengers were also allegedly invited to introduce themselves by the Purser "in case of news".

Meanwhile, the search for the 41-year-old Senegalese sailor, father of three, who has been missing since last night following the impact, continued throughout the evening with naval and air vehicles from the Coast Guard and the Navy. On the other hand, a large part of the hull, about two meters long, belonging to the fishing boat was found.
