Everyone in Silì is dismayed by yesterday's tragedy , by that 13-year-old girl stabbed to death by her mother . A pain that runs from house to house , on social media, and which is also manifested by a note signed by Chiara Carta's classmates, by the professors and by the director of the Istituto Comprensivo 1 , the one attended by the student.

“Your young life, still in bud – they wrote -, was shattered by the loneliness of despair. We all feel helpless in the face of tragedies of this nature and try to ask ourselves why they happen, without finding any answers ”.

Chiara will not be in class tomorrow: “The whole school community, of which you have been part for years now, remembers you with great affection and expresses the most sincere condolences to your dad. You will live on in the memory of your teachers and your classmates and friends . The place you occupied in the classroom will remain empty but not the one in the hearts of those who knew, appreciated and loved you".

And the greeting, full of sadness: “Rest in peace, angel of heaven, your disappearance has shocked all of us and nothing, for those who have known you, will be the same as before . May your sacrifice be a warning to all of us who take care of the school to continue the work of education in solidarity, collaboration and support for each other, our neighbour, starting with those closest to us".

The girl's mother, Monica Vinci, after attacking her daughter, made a desperate gesture , throwing herself from the first floor window of the family house. At the moment no detention order has been issued against him.

The ex-husband arrived shortly after: it was he who entered the house and found his little daughter on the floor, now dead.

In these hours the woman's conditions have improved, her life is not in danger. In the fall she suffered a head injury and a fractured pelvis and is being treated at the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari where she arrived yesterday code red.

The head of the Oristano Flying Squad Samuele Cabitzosu and his team, coordinated by the prosecutor Valerio Bagattini, investigate the causes of the murder: more than 20 blows inflicted on the girl's back with a switchblade knife - found on the spot by the investigators - while he attempted to escape to various rooms to save himself, finally ending his run in the bathroom.

Chiara's body is now in San Martino di Oristano where the coroner Roberto Demontis will perform the autopsy on Tuesday morning.

Monica Vinci, on whom the charge of voluntary homicide is pending, would have shown mental discomfort for some time and in her recent past it seems there was hospitalization for these reasons. As soon as her health conditions stabilize, she will be questioned directly by the magistrate .
