Carbonia, a public lighting lamp suddenly collapses

They heard a sudden crash and immediately thought of a serious road accident: instead when they looked out of the windows in the street they saw a street lamp . It had just collapsed cleanly.

It happened this evening in via Piero Gobetti, in the district of Rosmarino in Carbonia , almost at the confluence with via Liguria.

Firefighters and teams of workers rushed to the scene for the removal of the infrastructure . Fortunately, at that moment there was no vehicle on the street, and not even any passer-by on the pavement.

The fall of the lamppost, however, had been foretold by the residents who had long ago noticed a slight and suspicious inclination : tonight the lamppost, already eroded in the base area, suddenly collapsed.
