The screenshot of the Instagram post taken from the article published today by Unionesarda.it on the alleged molester from Capoterra has been circulating for hours on Whatsapp and various social networks. Everything is correct, too bad about the photo accompanying the article , which is a fake. The image, which portrays a man in his thirties, was apparently added by a user (so far unknown) who tampered with the original article. But that was enough to make the news and the photomontage bounce from one phone to another.

In the Municipality the alarm was raised after two reports. The first case dates back to last week, when a girl, after getting off the Arst bus, was chased home "by a tall boy, dressed in dark gray and hooded". Then on Monday another episode, when a woman was chased home by a man, again with his face covered. The Carabinieri are investigating the case.

The watchword in Capoterra these days is "no alarmism". But, as demonstrated by the photomontage, there is no shortage of those on the net who try (mistakenly) to put a face to the unknown man.
