Important new measure in the Cala Finanza affair. The investigating judge of the Tempio court, Marcella Pinna, has validated the precautionary seizure of Villa Joy and some areas adjacent to the property owned by the Tavolara Bay company.

The judge accepted the contents of the precautionary seizure that had been ordered by the public prosecutor Sebastiano Carpinato. Therefore, in essence, The prosecutor's arguments regarding the alleged unauthorized use of Villa Joy as a tourist accommodation facility (restaurant), connected to a serviced area of approximately 540 square meters, and the construction of dirt roads and tracks, also unauthorized according to the public prosecutor, in the Cala Finanza area, were deemed valid.

Preliminary Investigations Judge Marcella Pinna deemed the Tempio prosecutor's precautionary seizure justified, adding, however, that the merits of the case will require a thorough assessment, which is up to the judges called to decide the case. Therefore, the Tempio court's preliminary investigations judge's decision concerns only the precautionary aspects.

The conclusions of the Forestry Corps, the Carabinieri unit for the protection of cultural heritage, and the labor inspectorate were thus confirmed.

The lawyers representing Tavolara Bay's management, Gianluca Aste and Fabio Varone, are studying the documents for a possible appeal to the Court of Appeal.

The administrative appeals are also ongoing, with Tavolara Bay being represented by lawyers Marcello Clarich and Gian Comita Ragnedda. The company recently issued a statement confirming that it has fully complied with the regional planning regulations, the provisions of the single ZES authorization issued by the Department for the South (Presidency of the Council of Ministers), and the decisions of the Sardinian Regional Administrative Court.
