A female squid had deposited them using the hollow of an old tire that ended up on the bottom of the sea of Cagliari and perhaps "lost" by a fishing boat.

Well, the tire has come back to the surface inside a trawl net, and with it also the white filaments that welcome the shellfish eggs. The case is not isolated.

In the trawl nets that plow the seabed even at very high depths , up to six hundred, a thousand meters, not only fish, shrimps and molluscs end up.

But also the garbage thrown into the sea by men.
