At Poetto at night with Ctm buses, starting from Friday 30 June and until Saturday 9 September .

"We have moved in advance to guarantee a summer that can also be enjoyed at night for citizens and tourists who want to frequent the Poetto", said the mayor Paolo Truzzu announcing that the municipality has financed the new line, called "Blu Notte" with its own funds .

«After having financed the Ateneika service and the CagliarinBus initiative - explained Truzzu - we once again thought of young people and their safety. A night service until 3.50 in the morning with the presence of security guards on board».

The service will be active every Friday and Saturday (plus Monday 14 August, the eve of August 15th) from 11pm to 3.50am, with a frequency of 30 minutes . The stops: Piazza Matteotti, Poetto, Ospedale Marino and back. Timetables are available on the Busfinder app.

The ticket (€1.30) can be purchased on Busfinder, at the terminus or online by asking the drivers (in the latter case there is a surcharge of 50 cents and you need to have the exact amount). Ordinary tickets and passes are also valid.

To ensure the safety of passengers and drivers, the vehicles are equipped with cameras on board and a security guard will be present on each bus .

«The summer service - says the president of the Ctm Carlo Andrea Arba - sees an extension of lines 1, 7, 9, PF, 30, 30R until half past midnight every day. Thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Cagliari we will be able to add the Blu Notte line, a highly requested line to go to Poetto. Our drivers and security guards will guarantee a safe return home, which is a fundamental aspect for us".
