Restaurateurs protest in Cagliari for the outdoor platforms for tables , unusable due to lack of authorizations .

This morning about fifty local managers of the capital showed up in the town hall for a meeting with the councilor for productive activities Alessandro Sorgia and with the president of the commission Pierluigi Mannino .

In the course of the face-to-face procedure, the release of the procedure was requested because, the operators underline, "after two years of the pandemic, the locals want to return to normal" and, at the same time, be able to hire more staff thanks to the outdoor tables , which would ensure a greater influx of customers.

The stop to the use of the platforms had been imposed after a road accident that had seen a car crash right on the platform of a club.

From that moment, for safety reasons, there had been a halt to the use of the external areas on which, however, the traders had also invested 10 thousand euros .

The commissioner Sorgia anticipated that the Municipality would have a solution ready to unblock the practice, with a document that will be brought to the attention of the city council on Tuesday.
