Five schools closed in ten days in Cagliari . Once twice within 10 days. All for the same reason : mice or their droppings have been found inside – so they've been there anyway – and rat extermination is necessary.

The ordinances suspending lessons are signed by the mayor Paolo Truzzu, who acts at the request of the school directors.

The latest in chronological order concerns the kindergarten in via dei Genieri, in Pirri: children will not be able to attend here until Monday 21 November. A first stop had already arrived on the 9th.

Also today the closure of the Conservatory and Alfieri, in via De Gioannis, was ordered. In this case the document is clear: "rats have been found inside the plexus". For both institutes, the ASL, after an inspection, "signals the incompatibility of the presence of the school population in the structure up to the reclamation and sanitization of the environments".

On the 15th an identical provision was adopted for Pacinotti's branch in via Brianza. On the 11th, classes at the Artistico Fois Fois were stopped, but due to a case of scabies.

Mice also at Ugo Foscolo in viale Marconi, closed on the 9th with an order extended for a few days from the next day: everyone at home "until the conclusion of the reclamation". On the same day, gates barred (until today) at Scano in via Dionigi Cabras. On 7 November it was again the manager of Pacinotti, Valentina Savona, who asked for Truzzu's intervention: at the time the rats were in via Liguria.

All institutes are in different areas of the city. Even distant from each other. However, there is one thing in common: the presence of rats.
