Race against time to save a Sardinian baby, born from one day only, in imminent danger of life .
The baby was brought from Cagliari to Rome with an emergency flight , requested by the Prefecture of the capital.
A Falcon 900EX of the 31st Wing of the Italian Air Force took off from the Ciampino military airport and reached Elmas for the transfer.
"During the transfer flight, which took place inside a special thermal cradle , the little one - announced the Air Force - was accompanied by his father and a medical team who ensured health care . Ciampino airport, the child was then transported by ambulance to the Bambino Gesù hospital in Rome . The crew of the 31st Wing subsequently resumed operational readiness service ".
