The "Dinner for Life" event returns for the eleventh consecutive year. This event, promoted by the AIRC Sardinia Committee Foundation and open to the public, draws strong attendance every year, raising significant funds for the work of AIRC researchers engaged in developing projects for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.

An elegant table, approximately 50 meters long, will be set up in the splendid setting of the Public Gardens, in Largo Giuseppe Dessì, to welcome 180 guests in a charming atmosphere. They will enjoy a dinner under the stars, surrounded by the scents and flavors of summer. It's an opportunity to experience a special evening and contribute to the best possible cancer research, making cancer increasingly curable.

Sixty Years of Research – In 2025, the AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research (ETS) celebrates 60 years of ongoing commitment to the scientific community and patients. Sixty years of stories, achievements, and people working every day for a cancer-free future. This milestone translates into tangible numbers: a total of €182 million in donations received, over €141 million disbursed to support 681 research projects, and 90 scholarships, involving 5,400 researchers across Italy.

The Island's Role – Sardinia is also part of this important journey. The Regional Committee, active since 1991, can count on a network of over 54,000 donors. In 2025, thanks to the generosity of many, four research projects were funded at the Universities of Cagliari and Sassari. This achievement also stems from the heart of local initiatives, like this evening.
